This is how to sign up for a dental tour...
STEP ONE:
Let us know you are interested
Contact us by email (preferred) or telephone with any questions.
Before coming explain: (a) your dental needs (b) the dates you wish to come and (c) your resort choice
I will reply to emails within 24 hours to (a) confirm that our dental clinic is appropriate for your needs (b) estimate your dental costs (c) confirm availability of both dentist and resort based on your timing (d) and share our knowledge of airline choices.

Special note: Telephone us for emergency help. Yes we can see you immediately if you get on the next plane, but you must let us know you are coming. Most planes arrive in the early afternoon. Usually you can see a dentist the same day that you arrive. Call from 6 am to midnight for emergency care or an “ASAP” appointment. Please try to call only between 8 and 10 am or 6 and 8 pm with general questions.

STEP TWO:
Get a plane ticket and tell us you are coming
Make your own airline reservations with a travel agent or via Internet. Take into consideration our suggestions for flights and arrival dates / times. Expedia, Orbits, Kayak and other similar on-line vendors are all good. You must travel to Puerto Plata (POP) Gregorio Luperón International Airport. The Dominican Republic has five international airports but we are located near Puerto Plata (POP). You can also go to this link to research flight options: www.onetime.com
Special note: Our resort prices are very good. You can book this vacation without seeking dental care if you wish! If we book you into our Occidental resort and you are a good shopper for a plane ticket, it will be very unusual indeed if you can find a less expensive vacation elsewhere. Sometimes the savings can be significant.

STEP THREE:
Pay something to hold your spot
First tell us your flight arrangements for your airport pick up and also pay us something to confirm your dental appointment and to confirm your reservation in the resort of your choice.
Please pay $25 per person per night – approximately 1/3 down.
There are three ways that you can make this down payment.
1) Use PayPal. PayPal is recommended because you can use charge cards or transfers from checking or savings accounts. And you have full accountability of your payment through the PayPal system – as we do too. PayPal info will be in our first email.
2) Use Western Union. This is the most common way that money is transferred to foreign countries. Your email with flight information can include the necessary Western Union information. Grocery stores often have facilities to transfer money via Western Union.
3) Send a certified check or money order by overnight delivery (UPS or FedX). Our email reply in step one will include our Dominican Republic address for those who wish to “overnight” a certified check.
The balance of your resort price must be paid upon arrival. Cash (ATM), money order, traveler’s checks and PayPal are payment options. Regular checks from banks back home are NOT welcome due to long clearance periods.
Dental work is paid for separately with partial payments as work progresses. Cash (ATM), traveler’s checks, certified checks, and PayPal are payment options.
